I like these 2 color the most, the only thing I don't like about them are their sickles not going straight up. I have the same problem with all mine. The standard drawing has the sickles at close to 90 degree angle. I am trying to improve that and the breast in my flock.

Here in KY we are having a warm spell, its about 60 degrees here. Its been a hard winter, so Im hoping this weather sticks, lol
Im ready to get my birds out and start breeding!

Well I figured I would post a few pictures of my babies. Please...... I KNOW they are pet quailty, so please don't knock them. WE LOVE these little boogers. I hatched these from a pair of very large parents in Nov. I only kept 4 out of 30 or so. Gave the rest away as pets. I also have a very tiny little one that I hatch on New Years. I had to move him out of the brooder that had Silkies into a brooder with 2 week old sizzle & BLRW, they are all bigger then him. I will get pictures up later today. The other one I kept is freeranging with his Silkie family. I will get pics of him also. Actually I can't decide if it is a him or her. Has comb & whattles but a hen like tail???? I'll get pics and maybe you all can help decide.

Please excuse Hansel's comb......we tried to let him out with some others and they beat him up to 2 seconds flat. So him & Gretal are house birds, but I do put them out in the barn on nice days in a cage. Maybe evryone will get used to each other.

Awww I love them! All of mine are pet quality too and I'm perfectly fine with it. I never wanted to show them or make money off them as show quality. I just enjoy the breed and wanted more of them.

I brought him in to improve the tail and back in my flock. Yes, I trim him cuz his comb got beaten up badly by the cocoapop rooster.

Yes I will try to get some pics of them today or tomorrow. I just can't believe the little cockerel at 6 wks old is trying to crow! sounds like a whistle!
