I have a hard time believing I hatched 3 girls it is so out of character for my rooster bators LOL

Okay, my chick is awake! I have some pics. She/he is 6 weeks old. I think it may be a girl, as the comb is very small, but I'll love her just the same if she turns out to be a he.

I named her Hedwig, for her resemblance to one of my favorite movie critters!

I was disappointed in the way they looked at first because I was wondering how I was going to get rid of them looking all scraggly. Hopefully, being siklied someone will want them

. Anyone in the Portland, OR area want a silkied roo?

I meant Hedwig looked like a girl.

I just reread my post and it does appear that I didn't know the sex of my chicks. That would've been a terrible pic if I had been asking though.

Mine are almost 6 weeks old and are both pullets. Thanks, though!

Yes, they do look similar don't they! Well, I'm glad the consensus is pullet. She'll be able to live indoors with me longer- DH won't be complaining! She's my only lonely chick right now, so she's requiring an awful lot of attention. She's at the table with us right now, while my kids do their schoolwork, okay, actually sitting on my DD's shoulder like a little parrot. Boy oh boy is she going to be spoiled!

I can totally relate to that! My Zephyr was a lone chick and even though he has his ladies now, he is still very spoiled and demands all of our attention.
