I love babies! They're darling. I can't wait to see what the colors turn out like once they're older. The first black/chocolate roo looks like he might turn out having a ( close to) golden laced type of pattern. Very pretty! I'm anxious to see what you end up with! Keep us posted.

OMG, how cute!!! An incubator just doesn't capture "the moment" like this...!!!

She has him outside in her own stall so I hope everything goes well, I promised her if he hatched she could raise him.. she is a wonderful mommie, I call her my pocket chihuahua with a lot of fight... she is tiny herself but believe me - she believes she can tear you up!! Honest truth

I am just shocked! Those are the nicest feathered feet I have seen on a serama. What a cool surprise to have hatched out.

Thanks, their dad had better than them. I really didn't want boot. My son wanted a frizzle or silkie. But we got booted instead. lol

I kept selling them off, but they keep coming back!

I think that the booted seramas are definitely a novelty - they aren't for everyone but after seeing the recent pictures of the seramas with good boots I do like them! They're really something else. It's hard to find a nice boot on a serama. The frizzled are darling - seramas are just darling, period. I'm very much in love with my silkied boy but from what I've gathered he's been throwing mostly smooth feathered. My hen is smooth so I'm anxious to see what will be produced. I candled an egg today - veins and black dot present.

Babies!! Little tiny tail swishers.

My roo pecked my hen on top of her head and left a bald spot! I definitely need to find him another girlfriend. He's usually so gentle, but my hen doesn't want to submit because she's irritated with him so now he's getting irritated. He thinks he has to show her that he's the rooster. She doesn't have a wound, but I feel so bad! I scooped her up right after it happened and cuddled her and rubbed her li'l head until she fell asleep. Poor baby! Naughty roo! They're both FANTASTIC babies, very well behaved, but next time this happens he's going to have a time-out while she's free to play around and watch t.v.

They're both super sweet, but if I may say that rooster is really something else! I love his colors. He looks like a little spotted dalmation. He's SO CUTE!

Thank you so much! I was instantly attracted to him when I saw him at Carahamer's place. I really like his colors too. He reminded me of a checkered flag... hence his name...(for you racing fans Robby Gordon, not Jeff Gordon), and he's super fast. He got loose in the yard when I was transporting chickens to and fro from the coop to the run. He made a fool of me!! But I eventually caught him.
