We live in central Texas. We had found someone in a town not far from us last year, but this year I could not locate them.

I have some pet birds who will NEVER have eggs hatched by them... I can't help myself, I love my pets.

There's nothing wrong with having some pets just because you like them, just don't put them into your breeding program.
Serama eggs are never guaranteed - they can take a real beating during shipping so sometimes unless they're packed really really well the hatchability will not be good. Even then, like I said, it's never a for sure thing. I have heard wonderful things about Pearly Sue's eggs if you want to try hatching eggs again.

- if I were you I would attend a local SCNA show. Fantastic people who know what they're talking about and the shows are SO MUCH FUN! The last show I attended had baby serama chicks and hatching eggs available. It wasn't an SCNA show but there was an SCNA booth.

You ought to see if there will be any shows near you anytime soon. It's worth a try!

Hey thanks again for all the kind words. And yes if they don't match up to what we wanted, they will be pets. Just clarify what I meant by cull in the earlier post was we would not be breeding them if in fact they go south on us so to speak. Let me see if I can get some better pictures. Its hard to get pictures because they keep running to me when I get the camera out.
