i have a ? i just had three hens go broodie together eggs hatched and today out of the blue one of them just nutted up and started trowing baby chicks around like a mad women she just snap whats up with that so i removed her and just left the other two to take care of the chicks. crazy chicken! she wanted to kill them i just don't know?????????

That is adorable. I have a smallish Araucana hen setting some of my Serama eggs right now. I've had a tough spring getting eggs to hatch and just have one coal black chick right now but several in the incubator and 4 under that broody hen so I'm hoping for some nice chicks soon too.
