So I have had seramas for 3 years now, but only recently found out how hard they are to come by where I am at. I was wondering how many times a year does the same hen can go broody. Mine only go once, but I dont know if that is because it is to hot here. I live in SW New Mexico and its pretty hot, comparable to Tuscon, AZ weather. Thanks for all the info on the thread. I just got done reading from start to finish. I am not going to lie....It took me a while!!!

Mine go broody two or three times a year just depends on the weather and the bird!

Two or three times a year!! My hen has definately been slacking then. I need to just stop collecting eggs then. How soon beween hatches does so start sitting again.
