thanks for posting the pic, Drive me to really breed for quality birds. I wish i could find a majic lamp to make time pass qicker. Patients and correct choices.. But Jerry thanks for the post, great photos!!

Jerry, They are Stunning! Thank you for sharing here, there are pet owners, breeders and those that show and it's so nice to see that the breed has made it to that level.

It was a very slow start this year. I just have the 2 black chicks, super cute but waiting to see if they make the cut for type, and then I hatched this little jewel. I think the chick down looks "ticked" like wild rabbit fur

No idea about the color genes and I don't even care if the type is as good as the rooster but I love to see how cool and different they can be.

I'll post photo's as the chick matures to show how it matures as far as type and how it feathers out in juvenile then the mature feathers. I can't wait to see what else is in my box of chocolates (well at least there may be some cockerels that are splits for chocolate) There should be an explosion of chicks about the 4th of July! Pun intended and I hope it's a loud pop and not duds

For now, I'm calling this chick "Tiki" I figure the name will work for a cockerel or a pullet. I'd love to hear from anyone who has hatched some like it and what they turned out like.

Hi cathy love the colors of this chick def keep updates on the colors kinda curious myself. Hoping its got great type for you too. my black and white turned out to be a hen. but is showing great promise so far. been working her on the table.

Hi Serama folks! I'm just getting around to taking and posting some pics of the flock. Here are a few of the youngsters starting to show their stuff!

I like this cockerel a lot. He gets to stay! His mom is from Bluegrass, and dad maybe from Picture Perfect Poultry.

Here's a young blue pullet. I just love her lacing! (her father is from Jerry, and is available in case you "need" some blue genetics)

And last but not least, a bantam Cochin with a bevy of Serama babies at dust bath time.
