My wife has already taken some pictures of them, I will put them on here for her soon...I may get some seramas myself, but I am about on chicken coop overload. I am currently building the our fifth coop (all in the last month). I am a little tired of building at the moment, lol....June was very pleasant and informative about her birds

The Kentuciana show was a lot of fun, and congrats to all the winners! Ty, it was super well organized!

Liz, if you start hatching from the whites, you are going to have to send me pictures.

I think Im going to see what I can do with them too. Today Im going to FINALLY get out my incubator and get my birds a bit more organized. Sucks that its raining here today.

This is my second week off school so Its chicken week for me. Last week was horse week. I bought a new Grullo Appaloosa. Here are some pics! His name is Stied--sounds like "Steed" .....Registered Name is Dun Dreaming, but I kinda like Stied..they say it stood for Stupidest Thing I Ever Did, lol He's 10, with 30 days training and Im going to finish him. No one worked with him until he was 9 years old. I took him on a three hour trail Saturday and he did amazing! I just think the owners were a bit nervous around him, because he's not very reactive around me. He'd going to be a good horse with a few more miles put on him!

One of my other Grullos--QH Scoundrel in the front and Stied in the back.

Stied is very cool! I just worked with my new guy, Sawyer, yesterday, before putting him to bed. Haven't played with him much while I'm waiting for a my saddle to arrive. Pulled the lunge rope out of my hands, ran through the owner's yard, and, thankfully, AROUND the garden! Then I went home and got bit up by a hen I'm getting ready to ship out. Nature was out to get me yesterday! Anyway, Galileo is off to his new home today, but Royal is up for grabs. I should charge more, so he'll do better at shows (expensive ones win more

), but he has a quality ribbon under his belt. Here's a better pic of him, taken by Mandy (Cochincoop) at the Greenville show, where he placed second.

Thanks Liz! How tall is Sawyer again? I was talking to Kelly about it. I think that my tallest it 15.2 or so..
I hope you saddles arrives soon, but I hope you dont have to run though the neighbor's garden when you get it on, lol You'll have to get some pics of you on that tall guy. If we can see you up there that high, lol.

Galileo, farewell! And hope that Royal finds a new home soon. He is lovely!

Did you get my hula hoop vids on the SCNA forum?

I'm going to SCNA right now! Sawyer is 16.3, I was told. He has a razor blade for a withers, though. No bareback for me!

I'm not in a hurry to sell Royal. Even with Stella (and Camille, and Phyllis) broody, all the boys have at least one girl, some of them two. I split up the white trio, and I now have three pens with white. I want to find out if Serama white is dominant or recessive, or both.

Sawyer is so handsome. He is pure TB? I love his face. It looks like he has kind eyes.

Let me know your findings with the whites. I think Im going to hold back some more and see what I can do with them. I think that I have a better eye for them than Pat's friend that was working with them.
Im going to work on white frizzles now so I can kick butt in the shows, lol
Kelly is coming over today and Im going to get some pens re-arranged and get ready for some chicks.
Need to go dig out the record book...

and take some pics of what Im not keeping.

Yep, all TB. He raced until he was about 5, then he was sidelined by an injury. They say he wasn't very fast, though. Even so, when he prances, his knees come up to my face!

On a Serama note, I've never posted a pic of Midas before. He's an '08, and I've had him for a while, but he isn't ever going anywhere. His other wing has sticks for feathers, and he has a perpetual wheeze/ gurgle, so I don't imagine all the type in the world will make him welcome at shows. I'm hatching chicks from him, though, so he's worth posting. and yes, his comb is all bloody. He and Royal pulled an all-nighter for that one.
