My son loves them too. I got them before he was born. He started really handeling them a lot when he was 2 and loves roosters the best. He would like to have all roosters, but knows hens are needed to make babies. He loves chicks too.
I think kids and Seramas are a good combo.
They've been there for a few days, and out of 8 I think i've got veins in 6 or them. Good thing the seller sent extras
I got mine off of eggbid. They were well packed, but still chucked about I think. A couple looked like they had loose air cells. That reminds me, have to post on that. The eggs are TINY! I was tickled to death about how tiny they are. I'm looking around me trying to find something to compare them to. They're about the length of two stamps. A little smaller even. Teeny! They'll probably live in the house in a large travel cage that I have until summer. Then I can build a special little house and run for them.
These are from today. Goldie and Baby Sarge have 2 sons and 5 daughters! 3 of the pullets are the same color, black and whiteish, and 2 are a little different cream color. The boys are not alike at all. One will look just like his daddy and the other is very dark. Can't wait to see how he turn out!!
And one of their big brother, Sweety Pie with the serama hens.

Interesting that he's frizzled...I wonder what his background was crossed with to get the frizzling? He's a cute little guy!
I do not know what the person orginally used, he is considered a 7/8 Serama, he is sqeaky too, and the biggest doll baby you ever could ask for. Hoping the 1 month old chicks are as lovable as he is when they are older.
