WHEATON can only be wheaton if its a yellow chick at hatch....im not gonna say it again ive said it several times...dont mislead people who are unsure themselves.
that said hi all hope all is well.
here the broody is still broody and the eggs are still incubating.
i sat down made a chart of my birds what lines they are and who they came from and have decided to set pairs up in a certain manner.
so i cleaned cages which took me an hour thanks to the awesome coop design i have and the pull out pans in them (nope birds are not on wire)
after finishing i moved birds around and am gonna rotate roosters between hens to see what im actually getting out of the sets as they hatch....that way i can tell who are good matches and who arent
i even moved pullets around that havent laid yet but should do so soon to have things ready.
IM EXCITED to see what future brings....and in incu i have blue eggs i cant wait to grow em out....again if anything hatches
