Troubadour is between a wheaton and brown red but closer to wheaton!

I know she isnt as typie as my other females but I kept her to breed to Troubadour and Ambassador and she throws the best babies! she is a wheaton mottled

Swarthy yellow is a yellow leg base color with the look that if you took soot and rubbed it over the shanks/feet, you'd get a smutty or swarthy yellow look. Think of swarthy yellow as dirty yellow, best way to describe it.

Swarthy might be allowed in Blacks/Blues it has been submitted but not yet confirmed as far as the submissions go for the ABA/APA.
The SCNA does not have specifications listed in the standard for shows right now but yellow and swarthy if preferred.

AMERICAN SERAMA COLOR STANDARD

BLACK VARIETY

COMB, FACE, WATTLES and EAR LOBES: Bright Red
BEAK: Yellow
EYES: Reddish Bay
SHANKS & TOES: Yellow Preferred Swarthy Yellow accepted

PLUMAGE:
Male & Female
The quill and surface of every feather in all sections of the
plumage, over the entire body, pure black. The head, hackle, back, saddle, sickles
and wing bows of the male should have a rich beetle green sheen. The female should
also show some brilliance of feather in the head, hackle, back, cushion and wing
bows.
UNDERCOLOR: dull slate.


BLUE VARIETY

COMB, FACE, WATTLES AND EAR LOBES: Bright Red.
BEAK: Yellow.
EYES: Reddish bay.
SHANKS & TOES: Yellow Preferred Swarthy Accepted

MALES

HEAD: Glossy Blue
NECK: Hackle - an even shade of clear bluish slate, distinctly laced with glossy
black.
Front of Neck - - Same as breast
