Here are a couple pics of my silkied serama cockerel I picked up from June. He is a sweetie, follows me around wanting me to carry him, lol. My wife named him, Cogburn

. Once he matures, he will be my Rooster Cogburn (awesome movie btw). I have a 2 young smooth feathered pullets I got from june as well, and a small smooth feathered black 5 month old pullet I am really liking. We have cogburns mama as well, june was gracious enough to help us get started. I will get some pics of my wifes seramas tomorrow. She has the black silkied hen, and a real nice silkied rooster.

Here are my 2 chicks I hatched out from Patchesnposies eggs.

I am trying to convince my hubby I have the black on trained to Play Dead LOL!! He is sooo sweet just lays in my hand. I know he looks black and yellow but the yellow is really white. He had a bad photogragher!

My wifes silkied rooster, Dirty Harry. We got him from June.

Harry and her little silkied hen, nugget. She is the mama to my cogburn cockerel.

My young pullet, lucy. She hasnt all her tail feathers in yet. We have some eggs from nugget and harry in the bator now. Fingers crossed

Nugget and Lucy are just about the same size. I need to get a scale, but they cant be far apart.

. Ya, everyone is fine, even the TEN puppies my hound female chose to have mid day yesterday

. I had to move her into my storage building as nothing else was dry. Just about got all the pens and runs done, I am one roll of chicken wire from being done, lol...got half a dozen eggs from my wifes two silkied in the bator, hoping to hatch out some silkied pullets for us

. I am starting to like the silkied better

so we both are wanting to get another silkied pullet. When you breed silkied to silkied, what percentage normally come out silkied?
