BluegrassSeramas: Here is the little hen that I was mentioning the other day that I was lucky to come across. She is a beautiful color, tiny size A and has a great stance, when she stands (and she can)

My daughter named her Chloe.

These are pictures of her coop mates, I can't wait to hatch some of this groups eggs!! I think the colors are phenomenal.

While here I figured I'd give you all an update on our lil' man in the makin' ...now mind you he's NOT rotten!! But, he pulls on my sleeve and looks up at my cap..streeeettttches out his lil' neck up towards my cap and then pulls at my sleeve again and looks me direct in the eye... this is what he's wanting..

Thank you, I can't wait!! I have a batch of my lavender orps in at the moment but as soon as they are done I have a group of their eggs just waiting to go in..

Thank you, I can't wait!! I have a batch of my lavender orps in at the moment but as soon as they are done I have a group of their eggs just waiting to go in..

Oh I bet!! I'm sure they'll be just beautiful, you'll have to share pic's! My bator is empty atm but I'm just dyin to get some eggs going in it...I keep counting the days till DaVinci gets to be daddy!! Too Exciting durn it!! lol

Our bator has not stopped yet this year. I don't think our insurance covers chicken addiction counseling yet!?!

After this next batch of seramas it will be set with more "project" orps. Can't wait, I think I need a bigger bator!

We had a pair of buff orphs. and something got Big Bird

But, he was HUGE and such a sweetie. I love the Orphs!! I'm waiting for our D'Uccles and everyone else to start laying and hopefully play in the Egg Chain and get several of the breeds that we are looking for.
