You know, some of my Serama roos are no louder than my large fowl hens when they lay. I live in a noisy neighborhood, so that helps.

Now that I have several cockerels, I have to keep them in my shed so there is a sound buffer. I don't turn their lights on until 10 to help keep the noise down. It's no secret to my neighbors, but I try to keep the noise at a manageable level, and to never wake them up!

Thanks! I keep looking at the photos. He did such a great job.

I wish I had bathed the birds, and I wish they would have posed a little better for me. We'll just have to do another shoot!

Those are some stunning photo's! I Love em!
I loved seeing the mottled one too. I think some of my chicks are feathering out mottled just like he is with a white head and lots of white. The rooster and the hen they are out of both have the mottling gene so there will be more white but I'm anxious to see what the other colors will be since they're out of my blue and red rooster, Blu-T (the blue rooster I posted a photo of a couple pages back). The rooster Blu-T is out of had medium mottling but these chicks have a double dose of it and may be diluted too.
