Well, because I am handy-dandy with wood and power tools (psst... I am a girl) I made them a 23" X 20" x 24" inside cage for hanging out with me in the house.

They also have a sleeping cage in my bedroom. They do go outside during the day with the BIG chckens and then come back in when the sun goes down. Because I live in southern CA it is so easy to do this.

HAVE FUN!

Isn't being a handy-dandy girl fun? My husband is always complaining that I don't need him for anything! I made the tractor for our bunny all by myself. I figured him scratching the crap out of me whenever I tried to bring him in was his seal of approval! I plan on taking mine out when the weather is warmer. I am toying with the idea of growing little flats of pasture to put in with them when they can't go outside. Might be kind of fun!

You betcha its fun! You go girl!!!! Thats a great idea about the pasture flats. I go cutting grass on my side of the fence and my neighbors side everyday and as you can tell I have grass growing 365 days a year. Anytime I am somewhere I see nice luscious grass; I have a little box & scissors in my truck, and I go snipping some for my girls....When you get your little darlings, post them here ASAP for all of us to oogle and google over!

So do Seramas breed true to color or size? And if not what is everyone so interested in size I met one local breeder who got eggs from a"s and b"s and they all hatched out into c and d sized birds LOL

What a cute neat little run set up!

What a cute little set up!

I may have asked before but what color would she be considered. I was just wondering because I have seen a couple pictures now of seramas with about the same coloring. Not to mention everyone in my family keeps asking me if I found out what color she is yet

I forgot to put, some of her feathers have blue coloring at the base and then it turns to the buff.

I'm so chicken ignorant, I can't figure out how everyone else figures out any of the colors. Except black and white, I can do those!
