Hey, thanks for sharing these! It's fascinating that your line pops these guys out at random. The feet are definitely feathered, there's no question about that. My other question is do they come out either clean legged or booted, or have there been some in-betweens too? Thank you again for sharing these two.

Your mottled hen is a cutie.

I hatched out a few from eggs from Seramaland2. There were a few that had stubbs, sold off as pets. Kept the cock with the heavier booting & a pullet. Seems if the cock bred a clean legged pullet they were 50% some lightly booted, but the second gen had better feathering. I have two sons with really nice booting as well. I'll try to get some pics of those guys as well.

Not many booted out there, and most of them aren't as feathered as yours. A lot of them are stubs, and tiny stubs on otherwise clean-legged Seramas are DQ at shows.

Know all about the stubs......we breed & show Wyandottes, need I say more. lol I sware Mike Waski can see a stub from accross the room, that man is the stubb master!

Fascinating! Yes, I would LOVE to see some pictures of your booted babes. I love when people share pictures. I would share some of my seramas but I'm too dumb to know how to post pictures.

His color is gorgeous!! What a stunning boy! Good luck - I hope he goes to a really good home. I know how you feel. When I'm retired I'm going to have about a million seramas running around my house - I'll be the crazy old serama lady instead of the crazy cat lady.

I can't tell you how many roosters I've wanted to take home. The Duke wouldn't like that one bit though!

They are so sure of them selves, how can you not love these little birds!
