I do not think you will regret getting a pair. Try them out, see how you like them, then decide if you want to raise the chicks. It took my husband and I less than 5 minutes to buzz 15 babies. I will pm you with some info'.

I've always prefered the bantams myself, but I did love my standard brahmas and naked necks.

Well crap, I think I am hooked and don't even have any yet!!!! Sheesh! I am looking at Jerry's site, and thinking about getting a pair, plus perhaps another hen to make a trio. I really NEED to get off here and go feed horses before it rains....

thanks juliette . i planed on hatching some in the bator but i did'nt think that almost all my hens would go broddie one after the other. but what do you do . just sit back relax and watch the chicks hatch . i think we are going to try and get some of the 4-h kids around here in to seramas offer them some free of charge to 4-h and ffa clubs around my area. i can't keep them all and i only know of me and two others who even have seramas around here . so i'm going try and spread the serama love around my county.

Our cat loves the baby chickies! She wants to play with them but she doesn't know what to do so she just watches them. She's terrified of our rooster, Duke, because he crows at her. She loves the little frizzly baby.

I took advantage of our sunbreaks, and had a photo shoot with my breeding pairs and trios today. Thought I'd share a few from the older ones

You can see more of them here along with my younger and up and coming ones

I've
spent the winter hatching and acquiring my small flock from various lines. It's been a fun adventure and a learning one too. It continues this weekend as I set my first 2 dozen eggs from them

It's just a test run for fertility and quality, but it's exciting and I already have more people wanting the babies than I'm sure will hatch lol.
