If it's a tiny hook, just leave it alone. A good sized one can be trimmid with a pet toenail trimmer. Don't trim back farther than the bottom beak, and bevel it so the top is longer. I had a couple to do today:

Oh, Sun Valley.
I am sorry to not comment on your chicks......................
I just got behind with so many pictures........
Here's the deal.they are adorable and the basket is a sweet idea.
The visual problem for me is that we served cookies in that type of basket where I worked............
lol.png

And they certainly are not snacks..................
I go into your website often and drool over the beauty of your Seramas..................really........
And someday when I have learned more, perhaps can purchase a nice roo from you.....................

I have 5 out of 6 of my own eggs hached.
Most look like the chipmonk patttern.
I am so grateful to be past this hatching slump I was in...........

I can't even get my 14 new ones to stand in one place long enough for a good photo lol...they are getting wing feathers and tail feathers now and oh do they like to pose for like 1 second!!! I can already tell which ones are roosters....

Thanks for that info, I had to do it on a mutt hen I had and it was EZE to do. I used a human nail clipper tho. The dog nail clipper sounds better.
