Life could of been better if all the eggs from my double laced cocopop silver duckwings project hatched, I only got 2 out of 8 fertiled eggs hatched.

Other than that everything is smooth sailing.

You???? Same here, the heat had been cranking up every day and I have to watered my birds down to keep them cool. I moved most of mine around over the weekend too, I put the 3 young cockerels into an eye level cage so I can watch em grow and few breeders to new pens for test mate. Ray, your little boy is not going any where except to your home regardless how much people offer me...take your time if you are busy. No worry here cuz I am not the type that will go back on my words with friends. C ya then!!!! Have a good one. JP

Hi Joey, Yes, just about every one on that thread said that he is a mix of phoenix and ??????. Some people said polish/silkie because of his toppie. So it just confirms what you thought- Hes a Heinz 57 genetic variety soup mix.

As for the other gremlins, egg laying has slowed down, but all are loving the fan I got for them. There is even a small fan for the 2 broodies. Hey, 2 BYCer's have A/C for their coops!!! Lets move!

I am not sure cuz I let all my hens incubate their own eggs, the earliest I have seen my hen start again is 3 weeks after her chicks hatched.
