Hi Toni, I agree with her. Just have fun and learn. I have learned alot from here and made friends. You can go many ways... Pets, Show, Breeders But you can decide on that. Sounds like your off to a good start. There is not many serama's around here. So i have traveled and shipped mine. I am trying for type and size. Hoping to show.....

Gave some friends around here some to get them started. Couple are looking to ship them some. (HOPING) lol But you will get there. Just ask. most of the people here are awesome and gladly will help. I def will try anytime. Cant wait to see your serama's Bobby

Oh, Sunny California..
How on earth did 19 days go so quickly.
My secret to an egg hatching is to leave the house or go to sleep.
I think they know and plan so I don't get to see the hatch..................

Hey Toni, SCNA forum is where you want to be, it has all the info you need for your program. Here is a link to a written standard for the crele color; http://www.scnaonline.org/standards-and-judging/color-standards/91-crele-plumage-color.html . You can order Serama Color book from Jerry, I heard its a good book. I am currently doing both (type & color) at the same time since I had a good starter bird. For the best of the comunity, I don't critique other people's bird unless someone ask me to on their own bird and I will most likely give a constructive feed back instead of put them down. I feel its the only way to help promote the breed.

Majority of the serama breeders are using the oegb color standard as a guide line for their color project, if you look in the SCNA website you will see what I am talking about. The cocopop color I am working on does not have a written stand so I have to use the European written color standard for my project. I am not sure about the 1st hen color name but the 2nd ones is close to being a lemon blue.
