I have a frizzled rooster with 3 smooth hens. I've heard that the chances are 50/50 for frizzled from this match. I am still learning all this, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong someone. I have a smooth rooster with a frizzled hen and a curly hen (all her offspring will be frizzled no matter what). In my silkied pen, I have a silkied rooster with a silkied hen (100% silkied), a frizzled hen (not really sure about this one? 50/50 again?) and silkied frizzled hen (50% frizzled and 50% frizzled silkied).

And yes, they are so in my pocket all the time...and on my shoulder, in my lap, on my head LOL. They are all my pets. I'm not into breeding projects, I just sell their eggs and offspring (I will never sell my pairs/trios). I need to support my addiction somehow

I'm saving up now to buy a white pair from Juliette. Have to pay off the last bill first

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks!!
Tell me about it! lol Skipper has taken a liking to sitting on my head while he watches over his ladies. Silly boy lol
I need to start thinking about just buying a shed so I can put cages inside. Time to squirrel away some money for it!

We need to get Juliette to let some of us make monthly payments so that we are paid up by the time she has her next auction! BTW, she is one super nice lady to deal with, very responsive to questions and problems!

I thought people would like to see my serama chicks. I have many colors. They are both smooth and frizzled. Chicks are between 2 and 4 weeks old. The tiny little chocolate frizzles are my favorite. Need to get rid of some to make more room. I have 6 hatching today and then 13 more on the 21st. Enjoy!!!

I like that idea...not sure she will, but it sounds good LOL And I couldn't agree more...she is amazing to work with. Her birds speak for themselves so I will speak for her: She was so patient with all my questions and 100%+ nice in every way. I definitely look forward to future business with her and recommend her to everyone I know that is looking for quality Seramas.

You can certainly tell that that little one in the 4th pix down is a male already!
How about some pictures of the parent birds?
Thanks for sharing.

I can't wait to post my baby pics (tomorrow).... I had my last Serama hatch today, by tomorrow it should be fluffy like its two siblings. I had 3 out of 5 hatch. They were hatched with BB Red OEGB chicks, 7 out of 8 hatched of that breed. I eggtopsied the 3 eggs that didn't hatch, and they were early quitters.

It happens. I think that 10 out of 13 was pretty darn good for my FIRST HATCH EVER!!!

I love that the Seramas are all different. I can't tell the OEGB's apart. They all look the same. The Seramas, however, are unique! I have my grey/yellow with a racing stripe on its head, then I have my grey/yellow no stripe chick, and the last one is much darker than the others. When it dries completely, I'll get some good pics of my trio of babies! BTW, both parents are in my avater, White Mottled roo over Silver Duckwing hen.
