Bill, you have some really nice birds so don't post pics of them unless they are posed and good pics. That is what good breeders try to do and that is what Jerry and Grady ask of the people they sell birds to. To post a pic that is not flattering and detrimental to the bird degrades the bird, the breeder, and the owner.

I have learned my lesson on posting less than great pics on the SCNA forum. That's why you all don't see many adult pics from me anymore, I'm a bit gun-shy now. I have been humbled!!

I'm happy to share silly pics, broody pics, chick pics, but an un-posed bird on the other forum is open season for everything you don't want to hear!!!

. I know BYC is a lot different, and exhibition is not the focus of this thread, and I really love it for that reason. I enjoy being able to just relax and ENJOY and that includes ALL the birds, and the camaraderie as well... if you know what I mean.

Let's keep this thread friendly to all, not just the perfect birds. Otherwise its gonna get awfully lonely in here..............

x2 this forum is fun to be on SCNA is pro but here anyone or everyone can and do pose anything they like no need to be like oh dont do this dont post that, common its a hobby and yes breeding is fun but all that aside I just enjoy my birds period ..... seramas are our pet and we enjoy them and share them and post as many pics as we want as long as we are happy and the owner of the bird is happy I dont care no one is going to stop me from posting my birds..period but that just me I dont take orders from anyone

the answer is none... LOL... i haven't taken good pictures of them yet... but after editing those pictures on photoshop, i realized that they are all horrible pictures... none of them show type, and i can see faults that my rooster doesn't have... like scissor wing, horrible tail, bad posture, crooked comb, crooked toes... but he's perfect in person...

I still love the pics and OEGB beautiful dun love the color and nice rooster is all I can say make me miss giving my OEGB away

I just got an Orange Barred Serama Roo from Jerry, but I am waiting for him to settle in and get over his molting before I take any pictures of him. I plan on using him for my orange barred project. His has great type and all, but I want him to look his best. But I hope to be able to post pixs soon of him.

I didn't give up on her and she finally just hatched her first 3 chicks at age 15 months.
Just popped her on the scale and she's 12.1 oz. About 1/2 oz. fatter than a Class A.
My second generation ball style Silkied Serama tend to all mature slowly and the smaller, the slower.
I'm hoping that round birds without cramped internal organs might live long lives, even when I get a micro.
Lil' Blue's mate, Puff Daddy, looks very similar to my profile pic.
I guess finding a black roo to mate with her would be the simplest way to get more blues?

YAY my Wheaten / Barred Wheaten Serama eggs came in. And got some more eggs from shellyd love em. all i need now is some cocopop eggs to go with them and i am set.....

get these and dont know what i will do. they was the birds that got me wanting serama's

Good News: Hatched out 5 little serama chicks!

They all have yellow feet. One is black and white, one is brown with white stripes and spotted face, and the other three are white.

Bad News: Our brown mottled hen died.

She was one of the smallest we had and she died from internal laying. Two of the chicks that hatched are from her though.


So, I am still looking to buy a very nice quality Serama rooster or even a pair from someone. I think this weekend I will probably be emailing Jerry unless someone else has something to offer.
