~MALAYSIAN SERAMA THREAD~ (PICS!!!)

Theron and Zoomom and the rest of the sane and polite people who post here which is the majority of us, only one way to fix it: We ignore certain parties and we go right ahead and enjoy ourselves and our less than perfect Serama.

I will not let anyone run me off or tell me I can or cannot post pictures of less than perfect birds, only a forum moderator can do that.

Post away all the pictures of your lovelies, ignore the few who have NO manners whatsoever, do not respond to them. Even if their parents taught them better, they obviously do not know how to behave in public.

Theron, what are you looking for in a new rooster? Do you know?

I love seeing pics and learning. hope no one thinks of me badly or takes me wrong. I never ever want to be mean

Bobby did you ever get any whites to hatch? I am finally getting eggs but poor rooster has no clue, he needs some "sex ed" classes.

You have never shown a biride on this forum that I would not come steal from you.....

Thanks for the advice ruthless. I might take what you said and post some pictures later.

For a rooster, I am looking for possibly a pure white, lemon blue, cocoapop, chocolate, or black.

I think the barred look nice, but for some reason they aren't my cup of tea. I don't even have a barred bird in my egg laying flock. I already have wheaten roosters, so I was looking for something of a different color. Size wise, either a class b or c, no d's or a's. Quality wise, probably medium quality on up to show quality.
I know my demands are kind of high, but if there is a picture of the rooster you are willing to sell, that could change my mind.

I got one. But like you i dont think he know what to do. i have him with the spangled colored roo and a few hens. will have to post some pics of the chick. Got my fingers crossed.

Tim Hopkins is selling Some white roosters for 50 dollars plus shipping Bs and show quality I would but I have no white hens. Ill give you his number if you want it.

I agree with everything you said except the posting a picture just to post a picture.

I may have misunderstood your meaning (and I'm sorry if I did) but a lot of people use this thread for different purposes. A lot of us use it to post photos of our new babies or birds, others to show their nice quality birds, breeding questions, etc etc. I think all of those things are fine and should be welcomed on this thread by everyone. The first post was about showing off new Seramas and while we all have different levels of Seramas (quality wise) I think we all share a common love for the breed and really enjoy seeing everyone's photos. I for one love seeing all the birds - the colors, the types, the breeding projects. It's a great learning tool and the eye candy is always good!

Stepping off my soapbox now lol

X2 IMHO, a few people on this thread are just a big turn off for the rest of us and new serama owners. That is why I barely post anything on here anymore. I can't believe how rude and stuck up some of these people are being. Like you said ZooMummzy, I would like it to where we can all just enjoy each other's birds even though we all have different qualities of them. Even though I love seeing the good quality and the not so good quality birds here on this thread, they are all considered seramas or else people wouldn't post on here. I am starting to think that it would almost be better to have two separate serama threads (one for the "show, top dog" quality and one for the common serama owners). It is just starting to get too hostile on here.

I feel the same way!
