Male and Female Mallards?

It's hard to say from looks on ducks so young. Do the quack test that I told you about. If the one is quacking, it's definitely a girl. If the other is still peeping, is it a hoarse sounding peep? Like it is loosing it's voice? If so it's most likely a male. I didn't notice the color changes much on my rouens to know when the drakes get their colors, but the quack test always works.

If one is "quacking" kind of deep and raspy when scared or startled that's your hen. 1 month old is still to young to sex by colour, but not to early to hear a differance.. In your photo the duck in the back looks like it may have a tail feather starting to curl up.

All my females are very loud and quack my males don't quack at all just sounds like they have a sore throat

I would wait a little longer to sex them.

Are your males older than a month? Around a month males are still peeping.
Untill they develop their sex feather "drake curl" the best way to sex I have found is to listen for a differance in sounds to get an idea of how many of each I have.

My guess is two hens. No tail curls.
