Male Coturnix quail Problems!

so i have 7 extra males in a cage what can i do because they are getting hormonal and injurying esch other?

You can put them 7 different pens.
You can turn off their hormones by light and or water denial, but that takes weeks.
I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish.

I assume you are talking about coturnix.

with the days getting shorter & cooler nights they should be calming down on there own. clip there beaks so they cant do to much damage

Maybe trim a third of the upper beak on each, but I think you're really better off to either get 1-3 hens for each or get rid of them...

I keep my extra males in a grow out pen together until they are butcher age. I 've never had problems with any of them fighting. I have 8 in a pen right now waiting a fe more weeks. I giv ethem an apple to peck at to keep them from being bored.
