Hey everyone! It's been a while.

So, I have a Male duck who seems hellbent on preventing one of the females from eating with the group or getting treats. He just started doing this about a month ago. She is a very quiet, sweet duck and doesn't fight back when he tries to mount her. Yet, he is relentless in his chasing her away.

What is going on? How can we stop this or can we?

Probably not. Hard to understand what gets into their little brains sometimes. I would make sure there are enough feed and water stations that she gets enough to eat and drink. If he starts physically injuring, then it will be time for intervention.

Thanks. She's not suffering or being injured, he's just being a pest. I guess the biggest thing is that he prevents her from group from time to time and she seems an outcast. Thankfully, it's not constant.

She is one of our better layers, so that is a plus.
