male duck making a kinda fart noise

Ive had him for 2 weeks, I dont know his age but he's still a baby, and he started doing this weird noise two days ago. Its a high pff sound, not a pitched one tho. It kinda sounds like a fart or a snore. I started to notice him doing this after I let him swim a little, and he usually does it he's grooming himself, but he also does it when resting. Ive read that it could be a respiratory infection, or a mating sound but there isnt any female ducks here. What could it be?

If it sounds a little like a heehaw it is a happy sound. Drakes often make it after mating or when they are feeling good.

I have two drakes that make belching sounds. When the first one first did it, I asked in this forum and it was suggested he was 'adjusting his crop'. He may or may not be doing that but he does it all the time and clearly gets something from it -- maybe he thinks he sounds like Boss Duck. Now a next generation drake is doing it too. I have come to the conclusion that belching is just what some naughty boys do. Mine are both pekins
