Male emus compatible???

I've been reading a lot about Emu - thinking down the road a year or so. From what I've read, it's better to have at least two, is that correct?? So what I can't find the answer to is: If I ended up with two males, would they get along fine if they were raised together?? Or is it like having two roosters, and fights would most likely erupt??? Thanks for helping educate me!

My 2 males were raised together and got along fine until I got a female, then around breeding season one male became mean to the lesser one until after breeding season, now back to friends.

same with mine. but with the babies around now they dont care for me much.

In my experience, they would get along until possibly breeding season. I think I have 2 males, raised together, now 3 years old, that get along just fine. They chase each other around and play. I've never seen them fight.
