This probably won't help much, but the darker one is sending out roo vibes to me and I'm not certain on the lighter one.
You definitely have a unique pair.

I think they're both Roos. The males should have the lighter color, which one has, but they both have too much comb and waddle for the age they are. The odds of getting a light female and a dark male seem pretty slim to me

My 3+ month old barred rock has a tiny comb. Both of yours are roosters. Sorry.

These are barred rocks and the darker one is a roo- the lighter one is a pullet. The darker one is getting saddle feathers and is quite handsome! My barred rocks are my most friendly in my flock. Maybe yours will calm down and learn to love people when they know they are not going to be the center of a kindergarten class!

Everyon eis saying darker one and lighter one, but I think if you compare them to pics of barred rock pullets, they are both lighter.
