male or female???

i have a thai chick and dont know if it's male or female. it hatched on jan 22. im really hoping it would be a male since i dont have a thai rooster of my own. got this chick from some eggs i got from my uncle. my guess is, its a female since some of the chicks physical characteristics seem like a female chickens characteristics. usually i can tell when a chick is either a male or female but since this is my first time raising a thai chick im not sure if theyre different from other chicks or not plus it seems kinda small to be rooster especially after 2 months already

but im really hoping it would be a male

thats what i think but i dont know why its so small for supposedly being a rooster. the father of this chick was really big. he was probably up to my knees or a little bit higher. there were other chicks that hatched with this chick but they werent thai chicks though. my brother said it might be that the feed we're feeding it doesnt have enough protein in it so thats probably why its not growing as fast but then again he thinks its a female too xD lol
