My chicks are suppose to be female, but since i know absolutely NOTHING about raising chickens, i got a little worried that the babies were male cause of their comb. ( my city won't allow roosters)
Even with sexed chicks, the accuracy rate is about 90%. So it is possible to get male chicks even when you order females. The only exception would be the sex-links. The females chicks of the sex-links are a certain color at birth, making it easier for them to be sexed. Mistakes still happen with the sex-links, but those mistakes are rare.
Thank you for your help.
