I do not know, it looks like the comb is to small for a rooster… I say a hen!

from Washington! In our flock we have great people and it is always great to have a new member In our flock, we have no pecking order!

Hard to tell but looks to be a Pullet to me. I'm newer here though so just a guess. It's very pretty. How old is it? This will be a big help.

How old is the bird? Depends on the age of this bird.

You don't give us much to work with.

Age is very important in assessing sex because an early reddened comb usually says COCKEREL. also a clear standing side view could show if it has pointed hackle feathers etc. indicating a male.

You see this bird everyday from all angles - we do not.
