Males or females?

Hello I got some coturnix quail to add to my flock was to be 1 male 5 female. Are these 4 all male?

If foam comes out they are males which looks like they all are

Yup….looks like 4 males

You can also probably feather sex them! It that looks like they all are males from the vent sexing pictures

I was afraid of that they are supposed to be 5 months old and 2 are making calling sounds.

I’m not sure how to tell with that. Vent is only way I know how and I’m still new to the quail.

Usually the females have black dots and lines on their chests but males don’t This is just what I have heard! @Nabiki

Most of my females have a white chest. I double checked everyone in the run and 4 out of 12 have the foam coming out.

#2 looks like a recently bred female to me. Can you post pictures of their heads and breasts?
