Hello. I raised ducks as a child with my father, but don't remember a ton. I have 6 very happy, healthy, well cared for ducks that we have added to our crew. I was wondering, does anyone know when they will start laying? Will they try to sit on them? Because we ended up with three males and three females, will they pair off or will one usually become dominant? Any help is great. Also, what do you very northerners do when it is freezing out as far as allowing them access to their water? I have seen so many different ideas on this.
