So I have a mallard ducking thats 18 days old who's feet turn in. Now I'm not sure if this is a problem or not because I read that if they have a lack of a vitamin called niacin that they may have this issue. But it also said they dont move around much but she loves running and walking. She doesn't seem like she's in pain either and i dont know if this is genetic or something. Now i did find her egg was abandoned and no one knows for how long so could it also be that the cold deformed her? We are going to buy niacin tablets and see if those help and if i need to i can upload a pic of her. If you have suggestions or any ideas of what this might be please tell me. Thank you.

I hope you duckling is fine, I suggest you post in the Ducks section.

Is your adorable duckling avatar the one you are speaking about? I agree you should post on the ducks thread. I have heard of niacin deficiency but, wouldn't know how much niacin they should be getting. As well as there could be a different issue that has nothing to do with niacin. Hope she has the best possible outcome. Welcome to BYC
