Tank is a 75g Metaframe, original slate bottom. I've started moving pond plants into my tanks to winter them over in. So that's what those two dark root masses are, Water Hyacinth.

We put out mouse poison for the mice issue in the house, totally spaced over the fact that chickens/ducks might eat the now poisonous mice.
