Mallard nesting tube for Muscovy

Muscovies are a perching Duck so yes there is a possibility of them using it. Also, the picture you tried posting won’t come up.

That's very cool if she can climb in she may use it , one of my Muscovy's was in the chicken nest box this morning which is a cat litter container with top. They love to be on top and in things. If they are safe.

My Muscovy fly. So I’ll be building these nesting tunnels on top of a poll 3-4’ up off the ground.
Does anyone else have experience raising Muscovy outside without protection from predators?

I have lost quite a few scovy girls as they had went broody in the barn and the garden. I did have one who hatched out this large clutch of scovy babies. I’ll need to find the photo I took of them.

It is my hope that building nesting tubes up high will ensure the survival of the Muscovy hens while broody. It’s difficult finding information on what size requirements they need in a nest entrance and other dimensions. Muscovy breeding/brooding info would be much appreciated.
