MALLARD THREAD...not rouens, Mallards!

I found out my two newly hatched Buff/Mallard ducklings are Blue Fawn patterned! And crossing those two together will get a wealth of diversity in colors! I might try breeding them back to mallards to make them look more thin and sleek. I know they won't be pure pedigreed Mallards, but that doesn't matter to me. They are the tan, and the bluish mallard one.

You cannot tell male or female until their voices change/tail curls, unless you vent sex but the can be unsafe if not done by a experienced person.
Thank you for the info

Those are mine. I am not sure if they are mallards, because some of them are brownish. Anyway, they are very playfull and love to cuddle!! Hope you like them :)

Welcome to BYC! Are you keeping them warm enough? Also, the one in the top picture looks like it might be sick.

Yes, i keep them inside and they have a heat lamp. The one in the topic is from my bigger ducklings(month old) and in the picture it is sleeping. The problem is with the three younger ducklings.

What is wrong with them?

They were four. One died yesterday. Today their bellies were swollen and one of them was very lethargic. I thought that they were constipated so today i gave them only cucumber and plenty of water. First the two pooped some very hard mass and then started pooping jelly-like substanse(which i think is from the cucmber). And now the two got better but the little one is still bad. It stopped eating and drinking and it stays only under the lamp and isn't moving at all. And its belly is still swollen.

@NathanZee, you might want to read all of the threads where this is being discussed.
