people around here love duck eggs. I don't sell mine though, I give them away because sometimes the ducks can be a bit loud in the morning and I'm hoping the eggs act as an appeaser.

I just got 3 Mallard ducklings tonight here are some pictures. They are so cute !! Already named one rascal. He is very vocal and likes to try escaping out of the swimming container. any suggestion for the other? Hopefully rascal is a he and not a she LOL!

A friend gave me a mallard duckling and a chick. When they are old enough and would be put outside I was considering clipping their wings. Is that cruel? They are a migratory breed but was sold through tsc.

I'm not clipping. If you feed them and handle them they might not migrate. And if they do they will come back to their food source.

It's not cruel but if you put a bantam duck outside with no protection it will most likely be eaten by predators. Especially if you clip wings.
