Im thinking we have at least 2 roos that I can tell. I think my little yellow (red now) 1 is a hen.. At least I hope so!!

Babies are starting to be more independent. They love to roost in the coop after all the big birds head out in the a.m. Def have 2 roos & I think the rest are girls. Ive named the red one Revlon, because that is the brand of blow dryer I used to bring it back to life.

Revlon is feathering out beautifully! She's going to be pretty.

Mama Fuzz is over being a mama & has kicked the babies out of the nest. They are fully feathered and on their own. We have 6 left. 5 black & my red blow dryer baby. 2 roos for sure, I believe (and HOPE) the rest are hens.
I said I wasnt going to intervene or do anything special for the babies but.... After we lost 3 I decided I wanted to make sure we kept the rest safe. So, they have their own section of the coop and a fenced run. Will keep them in this set up until I feel they are smart enough to stay out of trouble.
