Mama hatches 1st one this year!

Looks like the final count will be 6 keets. 3 pied, 2 lavender and 1 white. Took 5 pics today but they are all very fuzzy. Had the zoom set too high. Will tray again tomorrow.

On a side note my guineas warned me today of a coon out in the yard in the middle of the day. Probably rabid!! I cured it

I hope you cured it permanently. Last year we cured a raccoon from overeating my chickens.

Yep, cured permanently! More keets hatched today! Looks like 4 more. Keep trying to get pics but they are turning out fuzzy. Found out I had the camera on the wrong setting.

Should get some new pics tomorrow.

News Pics!! More hatched out and now I have at least 12 new keets, maybe 13. The moms will not let me get real close and can not get a good count. Saw another one when I locked them up tonight and it looked like it had just hatched.

Congrats tommyingreenco (well, to the hen LOL) for that hatch. I just don't think there is a newly hatched fowl that is cuter than a keet. They rival the "cute factor" of kittens. Keep the pictures coming!
