I only ordered 8. I really didn’t want chickens at all - I was rather enjoying not trudging through snow in the bitter cold to do chores. As it is we’re having to put the run back up because we’d taken it down thinking the construction equipment would need the space to do the building of our new house. And then too, Ken and I are getting a little old to get more birds than we can handle.Baby Fever! My recent batch, started outside, enjoying MHP. I made a towel cover with velcro this year. They're now 12 weeks and uhhh you make such a good point about eggs, I find myself checking out feed store hours this weekend...It's all in the chicken math!!
