Please answer me this... again: Do you put the plush side of your heating pad up, or down?

The 'less plush' side of mine is warmer so I put it down, the top is covered with a plastic coated board.
But mine is configured more like brooder plate than the 'cave' concept of Blooies MHP.

I have the plush side - on mine it's red - up.
