I don't know how often I start a hijack but I'm sure guilty of going off on what was a SMALL tangent thinking it is a "one post thing" that then takes on a life of its own.

Now back to your regularly scheduled MHP discussion

@Blooie got 18 inches here in metro Denver area......snow is tampering but the wind is making it hard.

It was predicted we would get 5, but apparently Mother Nature is having a good laugh on us. Hope anyone else in this storms path hunker down and get supplies now.
Holy Crap!!
Same is forecast for Michigan tonite tomorrow....luckily far enough north of me, we're just getting rain and maybe ice......hope power doesn't go with incy at day 16.

HiJack?!?! Hahahaha....this is so obviously a chat thread, which technically can't be hijacked.

For the first time the Colorado Department of Transportation issued for those traveling, must have a 4wd, chains or snow tires, no two wheel vehicles allowed out. Been crazy.

Yikes!

Perfect timing, I post that pic and then see discussions about hijacking. :frow

Luckily incubator has been running steady, although there have been power outages in the metro area, we have been lucky. It all started with rain overnight and then turned to snow, making for not good conditions, out east winds are 40-50 miles an hour. The airport was closed, 1-70 east was closed, as well as 1-25 into Wyoming and numerous others. It has been a mess to say the least.

A bit random but I just saw on Twitter that a band playing a show in Colorado tonight had to cancel due to weather! It's just not safe from everything you guys are saying! Assuming it's not the only event cancelled. We got a tiny bit of snow the other day but it was 61 today!!!! And I'm glad. Bit cloudy now though

I guess I'm not sure how old they are when you they get to the supply stores, but I've had it exactly a week.  So I'm assuming it's not much older than that.

Okie dokie! Well I will sit tight and give it a few days until their feathers start, which actually I think maybe a few of them are, buuuuut then again this is my first non-broody chick experience so who knows if I'm seeing new feathers or just paying more attention lol!
