Hopefully spring will bring plans to greatly expand your run. It is far to small for the number of birds your currently have. Expansion will also require a (much) larger coop.
DE is really only good for mixing in very sparingly to feed in the bag to prevent insect infestation. All the hype about it preventing or worse, curing, external and internal parasites is completely false.

DE is worthless. When I first joined BYC, Gardens Alive was hyping it in their advertisement.
I tried it and it was totally worthless in all applications.
