1 definitely has one because you can see it kick in the shell and wiggle. My thumb is right over most. The second one had something in it because the night before mamma left, I candled and saw movement and veins.Im not seeing a chick in either one. No, my thumb is smaller. Probably 1/3 of the chick. Also you can see the veins in real life.is the chick your seeing as big as your thumb tip ?

I agree. It is a bit odd how big the air cell is. It is usually at around 49% but I recently raised it to about 55% to prevent it from getting bigger. The mom was not very good. She would get up and go to a different nest every couple days and I would move the eggs under her. Then, obviously she gave up. I waited too long to put the eggs under her, so it was completely my fault.I would just keep going like you are then.
