Mamma heating pad: sharing my build

Here is the mamma heating pad I just built. I chose to make it suspended. I will be moving the chicks to a bigger brooder soon... well as soon as I build it! I used the smaller Comfytemp “stay on” heating pad from Amazon. Some hardware cloth, a piece of fabric from a box spring I am repurposing, and some small chain links. I also wrapped the sharp edges in electrical tape then metal tape. I wrapped the whole thing in glad press and seal wrap. They seem to like it. Temp gun is reading the floor temp at 82 and the underside of the pad at 98 so I just turned it down to level 7 from 9.
