I have just finished building the ducks coop and I’m wondering what everyone’s opinions are. The enclosure is 9ft by 6ft and they will have a run onto the grass early next week.

A nice coop with a good sized pool/pond for them. I like their house. Did you build it?
I got the panels made for me by poultrypanels.co.uk and me and my partner just had to screw them together. The house was from Coops and Hutches UK, it’s a bit pricey but I think that it will last a while and it looks great!

How big is the run and will they have access to it all the time? If your birds are flighted I'd definitely try to have some more exercise space for them where they can actually fly a bit. I'd take out some of the branches otherwise if need be to give them some more floor space. But it looks pretty good. They probably won't use the coop much. All of my ornamental ducks are happier to sit outside in blowing cold, hail, and rain then for me to catch them or to go inside.
