Mandarin questions

I just got 3 pairs of mandarins, 2 white and 1 normal pair, Do I need to separate them in their prespective pairs in different pens or can I leave them all in the same pen. According to the person I got them from it wont matter they will bond to whomever they choose, they were born in February I believe. And if a white bonds with a normal will they have what as chicks ??

I'm soooo jealous... they sound beautiful! I'll wait for an experienced Mandarin owner to comment, but I'd imagine you should keep them separated until they pair up unless you don't mind hybrids.
