Hi (sorry I'm posting about a duck and not a chicken here)

I recently acquired a male Mandarin duck. He is the most gorgeous little thing I've ever seen!

I'm hoping to take him to a few local poultry club shows this year, and then a few agricultural shows next year.

See, the only thing is, I went back over some show schedules from earlier this year, to see if his breed has a class, but it doesn't.
Is this because they're not popular here in Australia (In all honesty, I don't pay full attention, but I've never seen these little beauties around before), or because they're not recognised as a show bird?

If I was to enter him, what sort of class would he be entered into? There are AOV classes... Do I enter him there? In which case, does a mandarin go into the standard waterfowl AOV or into the bantam waterfowl AOV?

I've only entered "junior exhibitor" classes before (and with different ducks!) (I've got a champion and a few HC), so I'm not really sure about breeds classes.

He's such a beauty, I think it'd be a shame if such an expensive beauty couldn't even be showed...

So, opinions please?
